Bolivia: Feasibility Study for ‘water + waste, Supervision of Execution
Feasibility study for Sacaba (18.000 inhab. +  suburbs of
Cochabamba of 100.000 inhab.).
The public relations component of the project carried a lot of weight; it included several TV presentations, public gatherings to clear project elements, and public discussions with more than 300 participants.  The water war in
Cochabamba reached its peak in a general strike for 3 days. 
Project volume of 350 T US$ plus extension of +200 T US$, project-team of 10 engineers plus supervision of 8 subcontracts (identifying and drilling of a well field with 4 deep wells each 130 m, surveys in geology, topography, analysis of water samples in 15 existing wells plus 4 deep wells, evaluation of 15 wells including pumps and pumping schema, client: Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KFW) and Prefectura in Cochabamba.

Peru: Master Plans+Feasibility Studies ‘Drinking+Waste Waters in 4 cities
Master plan and feasibility study for Tumbes (80.000 inhab. with branch office of 6 Engineers), Iquitos (800.000 inhab.) Yurimaguas (40.000 inhab.) and Requena (15.000 inhab.). 
The 2 year project was at mid-term with 500 T U$ late penalties when I took over.  We laid off 20 and hired 30 new engineers and economists; after completing the local investigation works, I moved both offices over 1000 km to
Lima close to the paying client.  In addition I concerted a special economic World Bank analysis for us and 4 competing international Consulting firms and the Peruvian Government.  Project volume approx. 2,1 Mio. US$, project-team of 45 international engineers, client: Bank of Inter-American Development (BID) and Programa Nacional de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado (PRONAP), Lima.  (FIDIC contract documents were mandatory.)
